The Company is managed by two Directors (i.e. Mr. Nkuutu David and Dr. Paul Ssegawa) and with personnel who are highly trained and experienced group of professionals; programme/project specialist, business development experts, most of whom are exceptionally recognized experts in their respective fields of specialty
He is a Conservation biologist with experience in biodiversity related research working mainly in the tropical rainforests in central and western Uganda including Budongo, Mabira and Sango bay forests reserves.
He has been involved in several Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) studies and Environmental Baseline studies as a Terrestrial ecologist or biodiversity specialist and registered by NEMA as an EIA Practitioner. Some of the EIAs he has been involved in recently include oil exploration EIAs in Hoima and Buliisa districts with Tullow Oil (U) Ltd, Namanve-Kireka inteconnector by UMEME LTD, Karuma-Kawanda transmission line by UETCL and Bujaghali Hydropower Project. He has also been subcontracted by BIMCO to do environmental impact assessment for the Kireka power substation and environmental audit and monitoring for Mbarara Central distribution substation and, Bombo & Mukono substations. I have been involved in EIA studies with various projects since 1999. I hold a PhD in Conservation Biology and M.Sc. in Environment and Natural Resources from Makerere University in Uganda.
He has 15 years professional experience and is the Managing Director of the Company and also works as Natural Resource management specialist and GIS expert with a bias in mapping. Mr. David Nkuutu is a Registered and Certified Environmental Practitioner and Environmental Auditor with the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) Uganda in the area of Environmental Impact Assessment and Ecology, Plant Taxonomy, Environmental economics, GIS, and Land Use Mapping & Planning. He has also been subcontracted by BIMCO to carry out Environmental Audits on the Iganga, Kakira, Magamaga, Bombo and Mukono power substations
